Its hard to imagine, that the end of term is approaching, and Aphellion night would be held on the coming Friday! Not that I am looking forward to this occasion, but that I didn't expect it to come so soon. Will be putting up a performance, singing ~Zhou Jie Lun's An Jing~ with Dao Teng. Well.. I guess I should give it a shot, after all i have been in this bloody school for the past four years, and this would be an experience....yup, but i do not appreciate the fact that we have a bunch of horrendous audience. Students who are overly responsive in the wrong way. Indeed they would cheer with all their might, till the extend of falling off the edge of their seats, whenever a mistake is made in a performance, or a performer makes a fool outta himself. As for a mediocre or rather good performance, the audience would only talk among themselves, and pay no attention to the performers on stage. Totally absurd! Isn't it?!

AND... Damn.. The bloody class chairman have submitted my name to represent the class in the ~Mr Aphellion~ contest. Sadly, it was too late when I violently objected to this decision. I am not sure how am i suppose to handle the pressure on stage...bloody hell..save me ppl....
ah...

You have always wanted to find one special gem, the one that you truly love, truly want, something that is of so great importance to you..., that without it you will never feel complete in life. One fine day, you came across the perfect gem, sparkling with glamour, completed with a flawless cut, you have never seen anything as beautiful and exquisite as this. Even though you are clearly aware that the gem is beyond your reach, and it will never be an easy task to get it, we, as humans will never give up until we give our best shot. Some of us may try real hard, stick to our choice for a long long time, while those who are more flicker-minded would simply give up, and search for a new gem.

While you are totally obsessed and in love with you dream gem, you have failed to notice.. that right in front of you there is actually another gem, secretly waiting and yearning for you to reach out and accept it. Perhaps it does not appear as spectacular and flawless in your eyes, in comparison to the gem of your dreams, but every ray it shines and every part of it, was specially done all for you... ...

Would you choose the first? or would you settle for the second one?

I'm sure what i have written above have certainly reminded you of one thing - love.

It is absolutely normal and understandable why we would all go for the man or woman of our dreams... but remember this, ultimately one party would always have to compromise, settle down and accept the gem who was all along waiting for him or her. But think about it, at the end of the day, do all this matter at all? Having managed to get together with your dream match only implies that both of you are bounded by status. Being bounded by a status, would only open a new door, to a new world, a world that may turn out to be heaven or even hell. As such, being together doesn't mean that the relationship between both parties would turn out well, and that you are in for a good time, absolutely no.

The decision of finding the right mate does not only revolve around your desires and perspectives, instead you should make your decision base on what's best for both parties isn't it?

I guess this is a really complicated issue..haha...whatever you do... do not ever make rash decisions and think long term. Trust me...at this age, it would be a wiser choice to invest your time in friendships. It is almost impossible for a relationship at this age, to lead up till marriage, we all change differently as we grow up. Our demands... our needs... our views... and perspectives of certain issues, would eventually change, and things would not be the same again.

love is blind, but friendship is clairvoyant.

Well i dun have much time now, but i had great day today, and felt like blogging a short 1,

haha..its saturday and i finally stepped out of the house to get a life finally, yep theres finally a change to my sleep, eat, wake up, study, sleep, routine. :) Rushed to PS at around 3 to watched constantine with my good old friend, haha the show was pretty good, 3.7/5 stars i would say, at least it has met my expectations.

Thereafter we headed for this japanese buffet at M Hotel. I have once been there before with my family, but it was not in the night, haha.. the ambience was great...a perfect place for dinner. The restaurant's simple and classy design blends in perfectly with the dim lightings and music (it would have been better if it was jazz though). And of course the quality of the food served was excellent, absolutely delicious :)
A restaurant that appeals to your 5 senses... It sure is one of the best places for dinner. Haha.. can't wait to get back there again.

At the end of the dinner, I offered to pay for my friend, but failed...-_-
man u make me feel even more guilty when i was the one who suggested this rather expensive place to dine at, and yet u have to pay for it! haha

Thanks for the day! You have been a real great company, you noe who you are :)

I really miss the good old days...in new zealand, and the free and easy days as a kid.

Yup.. its a day before CNY, however.. it seems to feel like a normal saturday night. It is really disappointing to see how Singaporeans live their lives.. Unpassionate in whatever they do...working aimlessly for materialistic goals that they thought would make them happier...when they failed to realize that the ultimate form of happiness, ..love..., is actually within their reach..

I dun feel like blogging much today...

Sparkles...How i wish..we could all spend all night playing that...its been a while since I have done that...haha...anyone who feels the same way...? haha lets play together.. la..man i am spast. haha i am serious! anyone!!
